Athletes and their families, coaches, and KICGC members are expected to participate in fundraising events organized by the KICGC to support Team Kelowna costs to attend the International Children’s Games. Such costs include team jackets and T-shirts, pins for athletes and coaches, and expenditure incurred by the Head of Delegation to carry out their role at the Games.
Fundraising by athletes is part of team-building and bonding with the other athletes representing the City of Kelowna at the International Children’s Games. Fundraising is also important for public relations purposes, to promote the goals and spirit of the International Children’s Games, and to ensure that athletes understand that their participation in team-building events is as important as their athletic prowess when earning a place in Team Kelowna.
However, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, our fundraising capabilities have been severely curtailed. In order to fundraise in a socially-distanced way, we have set up an account at the Express Return-It depot at 1936 Kent Road, Kelowna. We would be very grateful for your support in this fundraiser.
You can drop off beverage containers any time the depot is open. Please see the instructions below to assign your containers to the KICGC’s account. You can pre-print up to 6 labels to put on your bags, making drop-off super easy and quick!
