Have Team Kelowna athletes been successful at the ICG?

Yes! Team Kelowna has won 33 medals (6 Gold, 10 Silver and 17 Bronze) and Kelowna is one of the few cities to have won medals at both Summer and Winter Games.

Our male beach volleyball players also won the prestigious Fair Play Award at the Summer Games in Kaunas, Lithuania, in 2017.

Enjoying the spirit of the competition and taking part in cultural events are key aspects of the Games that provide our young athletes and coaches with unforgettable memories.

Volunteer Swim Officials

We were delighted that a host city accepted our offer of volunteer help from members of our supporting delegation for the first time at ICG Coventry 2022. Three parents and a sibling were volunteer swim officials.
